The Georgia Enterprise April 19, 1888
     Frank M. McCurdy, Esq., of Newton Factory, has been awarded the contract 
to carry, the mail from Covington to Jackson and the respective points along 
this line. For many years Capt. J. P. Loyd has filled the position with credit 
to himself and to the satisfaction of the people and the government. Mr. 
McCurdy will take charge of the line in July and we are confident he will make 
himself universally popular as a mail contractor.
