He killed the snake, and if there were any monkeys around they did not show themselves. We have been on those camp fishing frolics, have seen snakes, and can realize how good our brother felt when he became thoroughly and fully convinced that it was a sure enough snake that had honored his sanctum with its unwelcome presence.
