J. Griffin, who is also one of the most competent and successful men on the road. He is fond of Madison, and we are glad of it. Our boys love him, even as a brother. Whenever he goes gunning with his friends here, we always make it a point to look him up in order to hear him talk of this wonderfully engaging sport, and the many entertaining incidents of the hunt. He is a fine shot, and enjoys happy conversational powers, and whenever we meet with him after a successful tour with the gun, our heart yearns for such pleasures and we involuntarily determine to educate ourselves in this charming sport. Long life to our friend.” File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/newton/newspapers/wiseando790gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
