The Georgia Enterprise May 16, 1889
     The republican administration is dishing out the spoils with a rapidity 
akin to greased lightning. “The rascals,” of the white persuasion, are 
being “turned in” all along the line and there is a great rejoicing in the 
radical camp. 
     Captain J. M. LEVY, postmaster of Covington, has been removed and Mr. P. 
H. FERGUSON appointed to fill the vacancy. “PAT” will do all in his power to 
please the people, and will retain Captain LEVY as “first assistant” in the 
office here. It gives us no pain to see the “victors” receiving their rewards, 
and it makes us feel good all over when we remember that “today is not always, 
and tomorrow is not forever.” In the sweet bye and bye there will be some more 
walking.
