Melton McNeil and Rev. Tom Trout. He was a Native of Newton County, a member of the Georgia Bar Association, being a retired attorney, and was a member of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Covington City Cemetery with J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and his nephews served as pallbearers. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Otis H. Adams, the former Allie Dick, a daughter, Mrs. John R. Knight, both of Atlanta; brothers, Iverson D. Adams, Oxford; Jesse R. Adams, sisters, Mrs. Dewey Hicks, Sr., both of Covington; Miss Mildred Adams, Leesburg, Virginia; sister-in-law, Mrs. L. L. Dick, Covington; brother-in-law, E. G. Dick, Atlanta, and a number of nieces and nephews.
