NEWT ADAMS IS SUMMONED BY DEATH One of County's Best and Most Prominent Citizens Died on Thursday Morning Mr. N. C. Adams died at his home near Brick Store this morning at 1:30 o'clock. He had been ill for something like a year and his death was not entirely unexpected. Mr. Adams was one of Newton county's best citizens. Of a family of useful and prominent men he himself in his life maintained their worthy standard and was a man of excellent life and character. He had a host of friends who join the bereaved family in mourning his departure. The funeral and interment will occur tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at five o'clock at the Adams cemetery near Dixie. Elder R. L. Cook will conduct the services. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. J. C. Still, Mrs. M. M. Cardwell, Mrs. J. W. Smith, Miss Ella Adams, and Miss Emma Adams; two sons, Messrs D. W. Adams and H. C. Adams; three sisters, Mrs. B. A. Lunsford and Mrs. Ella Lefferts; and eight brothers, Messrs. J. M. Adams, D. J.
