Mrs. Aiken Passes Away
     Mrs. Carrie Aiken, widow of the late Dr. Robt. S. Aiken, died at Stewart, 
in the Southern portion of the county, Thursday night of last week at the age 
of 69 years.
     Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon by Rev. 
Firley Baum, the interment being in the family burial ground at Stewart.
     Mrs. Aiken is survived by five sons and two daughters. Two of the 
daughters reside here-- Mrs. Lige Vining? In the city, and Mrs. Blanche Peek at 
Oxford.
