The Georgia Enterprise, July 30, 1891
     Mr. WM. AIKEN, an aged and honored citizen of Snapping Shoals, died on 
Sunday last. He came from Ireland 40 years ago, served in the Confederate army 
and has been living near the Shoals for 20 years. Aged about 65 years.
