ANDERSON An Aged, Highly Respected Christian Woman Died Monday. In the death of Mrs. Eunice Anderson on Monday afternoon at the home of her son, Mr. H. B. Anderson, Covington loses one of its oldest and most highly respected Christian women. Mrs. Anderson had been ill for several months and for several weeks her death had been expected. She was a consistent and active member of the Baptist church and a woman whose piety was not questioned, and who on account of it, won her way to the hearts of all who knew her. She was the wife of the late Newton Anderson, one of the most prominent citizens of the county for over thirty years. Before her marriage to Mr. Anderson in 1837, she was a Miss Eunice Askew, of Union, South Carolina, where she was born on the 16th day of June 1819. From this union twelve children were born, five of whom still live; H. B. Anderson and Mrs. S. M. Johnson of Covington; Mrs. James DeLaney, of Orlando Fla.; Mr. Z. T. Anderson, of Cobb County and Mrs. T. C. Mason of Decatur. The funeral services were conducted from the Baptist church by the pastor, Rev. B. W. Collier, assisted by Rev. T. J. Swanson.
