DEATH'S SAD ROLL
  Mr. Thomas L. Anderson died at the home of his brother, Mr. H. B. Anderson,
in Covington, on Sunday afternoon, June 21st. Aged about 54 years. Mr. Anderson
was an ex member of Co. H, 3rd Ga. Volunteers, and made a brave and gallant
soldier, and was a warm hearted, social gentleman. For about five years he
was in feeble health, but bore his sufferings and afflictions with patience 
and fortitude. He leaves a devoted wife, one son and many relatives and
friends to mourn his departure. His body was laid to rest in the
family section in the city cemetery on Monday.
