The Georgia Enterprise, August 20, 1869

DIED
  At the residence of her husband, in Covington, on Wednesday morning August
18th, Mrs. MILDRED, wife of Rev. Wm. D. Atkinson, aged about 34 years.
For about ten days she suffered intensely, but bore her affliction with
christian resignation, and died in the full assurance of hope for a blessed
immortality beyond the grave. May the spirit of Christ comfort the hearts
of the bereaved husband and children and sustain them in their deep affliction.
