Death of Mr. Stewart Bell
  Mr. Stewart Bell, aged 84 years, died at his home at Snapping Shoals last
Saturday after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Bell was one of the best
known citizens of the county and was one of the oldest. His life was lived
in such a manner as to win the friendship and love of the entire community
and in his death the people of the county and that section especially will
lose the wisdom of one of it's best and most respected citizens.
  Mr. Stewart was a grandfather of Mr. J. S. Gardner of this city. He
leaves a number of relatives besides a host of friends to mourn his death.
The funeral occurred Sunday after which the body was interred at the
cemetery at Snapping Shoals.
