The Georgia Enterprise, November 3, 1899
Mrs. A. L. Bird Dead
     Mrs. A. L. Bird, died at her home here Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock. She 
had been sick but a short while, and her death was a  great shock to her many 
friends. She was a consistent member of the Methodist Church. She leaves 
children to mourn her death, the youngest being sixteen months old.
     Her remains were carried to Social Circle for interment Saturday afternoon.
