The Covington Star, May 13, 1885
     Mr. Robert J. Black died very suddenly last Monday morning at his home in 
Sheffield district. He was over 70 years old and had been afflicted for some 
time with heart disease. He was buried Tuesday evening at Philadelphia 
graveyard with masonic honors. Conyers Solid South.

Additional Comments:
I would like to know if Robert J. Black is connected to Susan E. Black Bradford 
(3-22-1861 d. 5-16-1926). She too is buried at Philadelphia Methodist Church 
Cemetery, in Rockdale County, Georgia.

Any information concerning the Rockdale County "Black" family would be greatly 
appreciated.
