W. Blair of Covington, died at her home in that city Tuesday at noon. Miss Blair was a sister of Mrs. Pryor E. Caldwell, of this city, and her remains were brought here Wednesday for interment, the burial occurring at the city cemetery at noon. Rev. G. M. Eakes conducted the last sad rites. Miss Blair was a splendid young lady and her death is very much regretted by all who knew her. She had often visited in Monroe and had many friends here who are pained at the news of her death. The funeral of Miss Blair will be preached at Covington on the third Sunday in this month by Rev. E. A. Caldwell, of Monroe. -Walton News.
