R. Bower Passes Away Mr. A. R. Bower died at his home, near Covington, Friday night, after an illness of several days. Mr. Bower was about 75 years of age. He was a consistant member of the Methodist church in Covington. He is survived by his wife and three daughters; Miss Florence Bower, and Miss Vivian Bower, of Covington, and Miss Lyda Sue Bower, who is teaching in Florida; also three sons, Mr. Cecil Bower, of South Georgia, Mr. Sam Bower, of Winder, and Mr. Herbert Bower, of Covington. The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. L. Allgood at the home. The interment was in West View Cemetery. The following out of town relatives and friends attended the funeral services of Mr. Augustus R. Bower, Sunday afternoon; Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Ireland, Sr. Miss Nina Sue and Hubert Ireland, of Smyrna; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Lee and Dana Lee, of Atlanta; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Perry, of Winder; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Perry, of Bethlehem; Mrs. Alice Irby, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Irby,Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Irby, Mrs. J. D.
