DEATH'S SAD ROLL
  Mr. Thomas M. Brooks died at his home in Wyatt district, on Jan. 8th. He was 
24 years old at the time of his death, being the youngest son of Mrs. E. F. 
Brooks. He had been a sufferer from childhood, but bore his many afflictions
without murmuring. Was kind and affectionate to his mother, a loving brother,
and his associates found in him a genial friend. About the time he attained
his majority he joined the Baptist church and gave evidence of his peace with
God. May the sod rest lightly over him.
