Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Walker Combs, at the Covington Mill church. Mr. Broome was a member of the Baptist church and had lived a consecrated life. All was done that loving hands could do, but God, in gathering up his jewels, saw it to take this bright light from our midst. He is survived by a wife, two sons, and four daughters. We extend to the family our deepest sympathy.
