Deaths
  Mr. GEORGE BROWN, a young brother of our fellow townsmen, Mr. I. W. BROWN, 
died near Rocky Plains on last Tuesday night. This announcement will be read 
with sadness and pain by the many personal friends of this popular young man. 
Mr. Brown was about 21 years of age, and possessed many noble qualities. He was
loved most by those who knew him best. In the very bloom of youth and manhood 
he has been taken from us, yet his name shall ever live and thrive in our heart
of hearts.
