DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mrs. L. B. Brown died at the home of her son, Dr. H. Brown, in Macon, on 
Sept. 22, aged about 75 years. For a long number of years this good and noble 
lady lived in Newton county. She was a sister of Mrs. Stephen Brown, and the 
mother of Col. Lorenzo Brown, a prominent railroad man, of Washington City. The
body was brought to Newton County Friday and laid to rest in the family section 
of the cemetery at Starrsville.
