BUSH PASSES AWAY Aged Mother of Postmaster Bush Died Monday Morning After an Illness of Only One Day. Monday morning at 4 o’clock, the soul of Mrs. Cynthia D. Bush, passed into the great beyond at the home of her son, Postmaster, H. D. Bush, on Church Street. Mrs. Bush was up to Sunday morning, in excellent health for a person of her age, 87 years, but on that morning was suddenly stricken with rheumatism of the heart and lingered till Monday morning at 4 o’clock, when the end came. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and had ever lived a life of noble Christian womanhood, and her scores of Covington friends will greatly miss her. Mrs. Bush was a native of Vermont, having lived there prior to her removal to this city in 1853, and her only surviving relatives, besides Postmaster Bush, reside in that state. Funeral services were conducted from the home of her son Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, by Rev. John B. Gordon, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, after which the remains were interred in Westview Cemetery.
