S. Butler Dead Mr. J. S. Butler, one of Newton’s most respected citizens died at his home at Winton, last Tuesday. He had been sick but a short while and his death was unexpected by his many friends. He had reached his sixty eighth year, and had been married but about two months. His marriage was a very romantic one and was brought about by a newspaper advertisement. He never saw his wife until he went to Atlanta to have the ceremony performed, by Dr. Walker Lewis, of the First Methodist Church of Atlanta. He was buried on Wednesday evening at Winton, the services being conducted by Rev. S. B. Ledbetter.
