DEATH’S SAD ROLL
MRS. S. J. BUTLER
     Mrs. S. J. BUTLER died on the evening of Dec. 15, at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. W. B. LEE, in Covington. Aged about 67 years. She was a member 
of the Baptist Church and a most excellent and worthy lady, kind, gentle and 
benevolent to everybody. She loved the Lord and endeavored to keep his 
commandments. That she has received the reward promised the faithful no one 
need doubt or for a moment question. She had been in very feeble health for 
some time, but bore all her afflictions without complaint. She was the mother 
of Mrs. W. B. LEE and Mr. G. D. BUTLER, of Covington, and has other children 
living, besides many relatives and loved ones who will ever cherish her 
precious memory.
