DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Dr. Robert G. Cabell, the eminent surgeon of Richmond, who recently 
departed this life, was one of the oldest, best, most popular and successful 
physicians in the south. “When he realized his condition, though not despairing 
of recovery, he calmly made all his preparations for death. Long a consistent 
member of the church, a believer whose faith was immovable, full of trust in 
his Savior, he called his family about him and bade them good-bye in terms full 
of affection and with advice most helpful and hopeful.” He was the father of 
the good wife of our friend and former fellow-citizen, Solicitor General Boykin 
Wright, of Augusta, Ga.
