Death of Mrs. L. Canup
  Mrs. Lucy Canup passed on at the age of 52 at her residence in Covington
on May 12. She was a lady of many graces of character and loved by a wide 
circle of friends. The funeral services were held at High Point church,
Rev. W. E. Lyda and Rev. John King being the officiating clergy.
  Besides her husband, Mr. Huland Canup, she leaves four daughters, Misses
Ludie, Martha, Winnie and Velma and four sons, Claud, Herbert, Virgil and
Huland Jr. A sister, Mrs. Lulu Stone and a brother Mr. Henry Rudicil, both
residents of Habersham County also survive.
  R. E. Everitt, Covington funeral directors was in charge.
