H. Carroll, Sr. Dies In Atlanta Saturday Mr. J. H. Carroll, Sr., died in Atlanta at the age of 86 years. Mr. Carroll was a Confederate Veteran having served throughout the war. Funeral services and burial took place at Oxford, Ga., Monday. Mr. Carroll was a conductor on the Atlanta & West Point railroad for many years after the civil war. Besides E. W. Carroll ,of Athens, he is survived by the following children; J. H. Carroll, Atlanta; Prof. R. E. Carroll, of Decatur; Mrs. W. J. Beam of Young Harris, Ga.; Mrs. R.W.
