T. Cofer, of Hays district, died of consumption on Saturday last. Aged 22 years. Peacefully and happily she bid adieu to the loved ones around her dying bed and calmly fell asleep to awake no more on earth. She was a lady universally beloved, and the sad announcement of her death will be read with pain by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintances. “She shall sleep, but not forever; There will be a glorious dawn! We shall meet to part, no, never, On the resurrection morn! In that bright, eternal city, Death can never, never come! In His own good time He’ll call us From our rest, to home, sweet home.” File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/newton/obits/c/gob2208cofer.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
