JAMES COOK On Monday morning Sept. 21st, at 4 o'clock, Mr. James Cook departed this life at his home in Covington. Aged about 80 years. Mr. Cook was one of the best and purest men we ever knew. He was kind and gentle to everybody, and had the love, confidence and esteem of all who knew him. He was a loyal member of the Primitive Baptist Church and his mission on earth was to do good and make others happy. He had been in feeble health for a long time, but bore his afflictions patiently and with out complaint. He will be missed and mourned by his devoted children and many friends and relatives. His body was laid to rest Tuesday in the family cemetery about 5 miles north of town. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.2 Kb
