Death of Young Lady
  Miss Eva Lou Cowan, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Cowan,
of Rocky Plains, died last Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock of lung
trouble. She was taken seriously ill on Friday night from which she 
never rallied, but conscious until the last.
  The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at Hopewell by the pastor,
Rev. L. I. Echols, before a large concourse of people, who came to
pay their last respects to one who was their warm friend in life.
