DEATH'S SAD ROLL
  Mrs. M. W. Davis departed this life at the home of her husband in Covington
on June 24th, at the hour of __ a. m. Mrs. Davis was a gentle Christian lady,
whom to know was to love and esteem. She was the only living daughter of Rev.
Dr. and Mrs. Henry Quigg, of Conyers, who lost nine of the ten children born
unto them, six sons and three daughters, and are left with only one son,
Mr. Hemp Quigg, of Conyers. Mrs. Davis leaves a devoted husband and three
children to cherish her precious memory. Her body was carried to the family
section, in the Rockdale cemetery, on Thursday, and laid to rest beside the
loved ones who have gone before. The parents, husband, children and loved ones 
of this good and noble lady have the sympathy of all our people
in their time of grief and sorrow.
