Davis, departed this life in Rocky Plains district, on Saturday, May 23. Aged about __ years. Mrs. Davis was a gentle Christian lady, whose mission on earth was to do good and make those about her happy. She leaves a devoted husband, three daughters, Mrs. W. C. _______, Mrs. Coleman Ir?? and Miss _____ Davis; also three sons, Messrs. H. S.; M. W.; and Frank C. Davis. Besides these she has many relatives and friends to mourn her death and to cherish her sweet and precious memory. She was a sister of Mr. Franklin Wright, of Covington, and Mrs. A. J. Webb, of Jackson, Ga. She was a loyal member of the Primitive Baptist church, and no better, more benevolent, more generous lady ever lived or died than Mrs. Davis. Her body was laid to rest on Sunday at the family cemetery, near the home. Mr. Frank Moss conducted the funeral service.
