Georgia Enterprise, Jan. 28, 1897
     On Monday, Jan. 18, Capt. Dodge died at his home in Downs district, after
a long spell of sickness. Aged about 72 years. On Friday night, Jan. 22, Mrs.
Dodge, his good wife, departed this life. Aged about 67 years. Both were dearly
beloved and highly esteemed. They had no children, but leave many relatives
and friends to mourn their departure.
