Miss Echols was one of the most intelligent, useful and loveable young ladies in this whole community, and her death is a loss which is keenly felt by every one. She was a noble young lady in every sense, so kind, so gentle, so pure, so good. All loved her, and all are deeply grieved at her untimely death. May her pure and spotless life ever be a living example for the young of our community.
