The Georgia Enterprise, April 18, 1873
DIED
     On the morning of April 15, at her home near Shoal Creek, Newton County,
after months of severe suffering from a complication of disease, MRS. MARTHA
ELLIOTT, aged about 73 years. Having been for over 40 years an humble member
of the Primitive Baptist Church, the faith which was her trust through life
was her support in death. An aged mother, one brother and a large family of 
children and grandchildren survive her, who have our sincere sympathy in their
great bereavement.
