Death of Miss Ewing
  On Tuesday, November 29th, Miss Mattie Ewing, the young daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Levi Ewing, of Alcovy, passed away after a brief illness. The funeral and 
burial took place on the following day at Macedonia church, the  Rev. Aycock 
officiating  in the presence of many relatives and sympathising friends.
  Miss Ewing was just twenty years of age, and her sad and untimely death is 
greatly deplored.
