P. Farmer died at the residence of his mother in Anniston, Alabama, on April 11th. Aged about 28 years. He had been sick with lung trouble for sometime past and his death was not unexpected. A few weeks since he was carried from Covington to Anniston where his devoted mother and loved ones could minister to him in his dying hours. Peter Farmer was a warm hearted, generous young man and his death is lamented by his many friends and relatives in Georgia. He was a brother of Mr. Jas. A. Farmer, of this city, who tenderly nursed and cared for him during his protracted illness and was by his side when the Angel of Death summoned him to a home beyond the stars. We drop a tear to the memory of our departed friend.
