L. Ficquette, died at Almon, May 8, and was buried May 10 at Salem church. Funeral was conducted by Rev. N. P. Manning, of Atlanta, assisted by Rev. E. P. Hammond. Mrs. Ficquette was 67 years old and a most estimable lady. She leaves twin daughters, Mrs. W. E. Ray, Almon, and Mrs. L. E. Flannigan, of Almon; three sons, W. B., Almon; E. L., of Oxford, and V. G., of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, William Parkinson, of Texas, besides a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral arrangements by Harwell & Co.
