She retired at her usual hour at night and was found dead in her bed the next morning. She was born on March 23rd, 1851 and was therefore in her fifty-third year. She is survived by three sons, two brothers and one sister. Her sons are J. S. Fillyaw, of Monroe, Thom E. Fillyaw, of Macon and W. G. Fillyaw of Yatesville; the brothers, being J. S. Lemmonds of Atlanta and J. R. Lemmonds, of Macon. Mrs Mattie Higginbotham, of Alcova, is her sister. Mrs. Fillyaw was a consistant member of the Missionary Baptist church for many years and one of its most devout members. Her funeral took place Monday morning, the interment being near Rutledge, Rev.
