Zion Church cemetery. His age was 50 and he was a life long resident of Newton County, and greatly respected. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Lizzie Moss, four daughters Miss Nellie Grace, Annie May, Addie Louise, Sara Ruth, all of Newton county, four sons, Aaron, Oxie?, Johnson and Sam Thomas, all at home; two sisters Mrs. A. Moss of Newton County and Mrs Nellie Gardner of Montrose, Ga., five brothers, Henry, Elam, Tucker, J. W. D. and R. E. of Newton County. The officiating minister was Rev. G. L. Drake of Macon.
