IN MEMORIAM
IRENA FLOYD
     The destroying Angel has entered another home, and nipped a precious bud. 
The hearts of the broken circle are crushed over the blight of the bloom, just 
opening  late young girlhood. Irena, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. John C. Floyd, 
and granddaughter of the late Judge Floyd, died in Columbus on the night of 
March 28th, aged 14.

“Let us for matchless mercy Christ adore,
They are not lost, but only, gone before;
With glittering crown, and golden harps they stand, 
To bid us welcome to that Heavenly land.”
