Georgia Enterprise, Jan. 30, 1896
  Capt. W. J. Francis, who has been dangerously sick for some time at the 
home of his son in law, Mr. A. S. Fowler, on Anderson Avenue, died on Jan.
27 at 5 p. m. His body was carried to Dekalb county for burial. Captain
Francis was a noble and lovable man. He was a loyal Mason and was good and
kind to everybody. Peace to his precious memory and rest to his immortal
soul.
