W. FREEMAN, daughter of our worthy citizen, Wm. J. Wright, died suddenly of heart disease at her home in Rutledge, Ga., on the 5th inst. in her thirty seventh year, leaving a husband and four children sorely bereaved and bowed beneath the burden of a great sorrow. She was a devoted and faithful wife, a fond and conscientious mother, a neighbor whose heart was ever brimming with charity and benevolence, and a Christian whose faith never wavered and whose piety was never doubted, a member of the Methodist Church nearly all her life, she was ever true to her vows and faithful to her God. She seemed to have a presentment, that when death came to her, it would come suddenly, and she so told a friend only a short while before her death, at the same time remarking that it mattered not, for come when and how it might it would find her ready and prepared. Her life and her religion had robbed death of its terror, and death to her was not death, but the gate to a higher and a happier and an everlasting life above the stars.
