The Georgia Enterprise, December 25, 1890
Mrs. Amanda Gibson one of the oldest and best ladies in the county, died at her 
home near Brick Store, on Sunday last. She was loved by all who knew her. She 
was always kind and generous, and was a Christian in the fuller sense of that 
magic word. She leaves many dear ones to mourn her departure.
