DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Judge MANSON GLASS departed this life at his home near Newborn on Jan. 
12th. He was one of the oldest and best men in the county. He was generous and 
kind to all mankind. He was a friend to every good and true cause. He had 
convictions and possessed the courage to stand by them. He was a Christian 
gentleman, who will be missed and mourned by all who knew him. May our friend 
sleep sweetly.
