DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mrs. Sadie GRAY, so well and favorably known to most of our people, died 
at Hawthorne, Fla., on the 8th. Her remains were brought to Oxford, Ga., for 
interment. This good and noble lady moved from Covington to Florida last year 
and the news of her death brought sorrow to many hearts and homes in Newton 
County. She leaves five children, the oldest not being over 16 years, and many 
relatives and friends to mourn her death.
