H. Griffin, of Oxford, died on Friday night, the 5th of June, from a relapse of Measles, aged about 18 years. Mr. Griffin was a member of the junior class of Emory College, and was a remarkably bright and promising young man. He was awarded a speakers place in his class, at the approaching commencement, and stood high in all his studies. His funeral took place on Sunday morning, the services being conducted by Drs. Haygood, Hopkins, Branham and Stone.
