Brice was a son of Major W. B. Griffin, of Oxford, and a young man of ______ ______ _______. He was about 18 years of age and beloved by all who knew him. ________ __________ ___________, the sorrow that we feel over the unfortunate accident which has taken from our county one of its best and noblest young men. Universal sympathy is extended to the family and friends of the deceased in their hours of grief and despondency. Our young friend will be mourned and missed by a large circle of dear friends here and elsewhere. He was a noble youth, kind, generous and companionable. May the Master heal the bleeding hearts of the loved ones who are almost crushed beneath the weight of this heavy blow, and give them strength to say, “the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” Additional Comments: Parts of this article were illegible.
