H. Griffin Mrs. Susie C. Griffin, wife of Mr. James H. Griffin, of Oxford, died on Friday afternoon, June 19, 1885, of typhoid dysentery, aged about 42 years. She was the daughter of the late Dr. A. Means, of Oxford, was a devoted member of the Methodist Church, and affectionate and loving wife and mother, and a kind and generous neighbor and friend. Her son died just two weeks before, and she never fully recovered from this sad bereavement. She leaves a husband and seven children, four of which are quite small. To their bereaved ones the sympathy of the STAR is extended with heartfelt sincerity. Her burial took place on Saturday afternoon.
