DEATH’S SAD ROLL

Mrs. Dr. GEO. G. GRIFFIN, departed this life at the home of her husband in 
Covington on the afternoon of Nov. 18th. She was a most excellent lady, whose 
life was devoted to doing good and trying to make those around her happy. She 
was kind and benevolent and her death will be mourned by all who knew her. She 
leaves a devoted husband several children and many friends and relatives to 
lament her loss. She was a Christian lady and was ready to obey her Master’s 
call when it came. Her remains were laid to rest in the family section of the 
cemetery at Oxford on Thursday, 19th. May she sleep sweetly.
