DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mr. Howard Guffin, son-in-law of Esquire Alfred Livingston, died in Indian 
Territory, where he has been engaged in business about one year, on Sunday 
last. His remains were brought to Newton County for burial. A good man, 
generous, kind and true has been called away from the busy scenes of this life.
